diSCan (“the App”) helps you scan, store, and manage vehicle license disc details and receive renewal reminders. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
By default, data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to sign in or enable cloud backup/sync (when available), selected data may be stored on secure servers to provide backup and multi-device access. We will clearly indicate when a feature uses cloud storage.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (e.g., notification delivery or error reporting) strictly to operate the App. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for their own purposes.
We keep your data for as long as you use the App or as required to provide the service. You can delete vehicles or all stored data from within the App. If you use cloud backup, you may request deletion by contacting us.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we aim to keep your data safe and limit access to authorized personnel and processors only.
diSCan is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to remove it.
If you use the App outside your country, your information may be processed in other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be announced in-app.
